Jackie - Cuyamaca College
I am currently a sophomore at Cuyamaca College majoring in mechanical engineering. I am currently working on an associates of science and all necessary courses needed for transfer to a university. My goal is to earn my highest degree in mechanical engineering and perhaps one day work for SpaceX. Engineering has always been an interest of mine. I am a United states Navy veteran now exploring the beautiful sites of San Diego and the relaxing beaches.
Pamela - Miramar College
My name is Pamela and I am currently a chemistry major at Miramar Community College. I plan to continue my education for the long haul and attend medical school. In my spare time I enjoy conducting experiments at home with my 5 year old daughter, cooking, hiking, and reading. My favorite aspect of the STEM program is that it gets children involved with science. I have loved science since I was little and it was programs like STEM that really helped nurture my interest.

Jacqueline is a freshman at the California State University, San Marcos, currently pursuing a Biotechnology degree. On her fee time, she likes to volunteer, go hiking around San Diego and she loves to travel. Jacqueline's goal is to obtain her degree within four years and then get a job in the Biotechnology Industry.

My name is Iris Jia, I am studying Biochemistry/cell biology at UCSD. I am interested in music as well as arts. I am super exited about how music and arts can be related to science. In my spare time, I enjoy myself by dancing, doing some calligraphy and reading. As for career, I will probably go to industry or do research related to biotechnology. My favorite aspect of STEM is the beauty of logic and the application of knowledge. With the power of STEM, you will learn a logical way of thinking, and make an actual difference of people's life.
