We will have an interactive activity around origami to introduce families to the intersection of STEAM and paper folding, and we will also be bringing our floor loom which anyone can use to learn how to weave! We do what we call 'wabi sabi' weaving which means beauty in imperfection- it is a very fun and engaging activity and we have all of the supplies.

Our robotics students and teachers will be engaging guests by allowing them to try coding activities and operate remote controlled Vex IQ robots and even complete a VEX competition challenge!

Our student ambassadors and teachers will be engaging guests through several hands-on, interactive science experiments/activities such as elephant toothpaste, biome diorama, chemical reaction experiments and molecule sticks. In addition to hands-on science activities, we will also provide our guests with cool, interactive art and math activities.

San Diego Children's Discovery Museum provides hands-on STEM experiences for children through its mobile exhibits program. Children can experiment with gravity on Ball Wall, use their imagination to architect buildings out of large foam blocks, and explore engineering through play. Each exhibit comes with unique STEM challenges to encourage children to push beyond their current knowledge and uncover endless opportunities to learn through play.
