During this presentation we briefly discuss what the Pacific Marine Mammal Center does & then dive into several problems that our oceans are facing, including: Marine debris, chemical runoff, noise pollution, fishery interactions & more. These problems affect all marine life, and are important to talk about. We end with action items you can do at home to help save our oceans!

This presentation covers an explanation of proprioception and neuroplasticity in the brain and how a therapy using a mirror box can trick the brain into relieving phantom limb pain and strengthen weakened arms and legs after having a stroke.
