I would like to show examples of work that I have done while working for the San Diego Natural History Museum. My work is the marriage of science and art. The work will include reconstructions of prehistoric life; both scale models and illustrations. I will also have some of the I D illustrations for our outdoor native plants gardens that surround the Museum as well as local wildlife. Last year I had a similar exhibit and enjoyed talking with visitors how we at the NAT use art to teach science and how art enhances the experience of our guests. I hope to encourage Art Pavilion visitors who come to our table to get out in Nature, take a close look and perhaps do some art. A NAT visit is always encouraged. Maybe someone will be inspired to pursue a museum career. -Jim Melli
