We will have simple morse-code machines (and can also teach kids how to make one at home from batteries, paper clips, aluminum foil and 5mm light bulbs. We will also feature/explain the contributions of women to wireless communications in WW2 that went vastly unrecognized, namely Grace Hopper and Hedy Lamarr.

Hands-On Technology Education proudly features interactive, tech adventure demos featuring: virtual reality, e-Sports, robotics, game design & CoreSTEAM, and coding + electronics! Our various activity stations will preview what is offered year-round via our signature Tech Adventure Programs during summer camps, after-school programs, & professional development.

Amor 102.9 FM and Que Buena 106.5 FM will host an interactive area with a focus on terrestrial broadcast and digital media.

Children will be able to interact with our real, industry sized robot! They will be able to place cones and cubes anywhere they would like to, and the robot will pick them up and place them elsewhere!

The students will be determining how virtual reality goggles impact vital signs like heart rate and breathing rate. It should be pretty interactive. The lead teacher is working with a cohort of Biomedical pathway students. I can send some photos of the equipment.

Don't miss the ABC 10News Experience, a hands-on opportunity for kids to see how television news is created and what it is like to be a reporter or anchor. Learn how graphics are made, try your hand reading scripts, see being on camera comes together in a news story, weather report or breaking news. Meet some of the ABC 10News Anchors, Reporters and Meteorologists who do this every day!

The booth will either feature a VR experience from our wildfire mitigation team, or will be another interactive display.
