Univision Radio San Diego will host an interactive booth featuring a traveling radio production studio. Attendees will be invited to read a script, record a radio spot and learn about radio production.

We will use the space to bring chromebooks to demonstrate to kids and families the kind of curriculum we offer.
The Air Force will attend EXPO Day with an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Team in additional to a 12' activation trailer with interactive games (TBD).
NDIA Exhibit booth goals are to have students learn about technology needed within DoD from our industry partners and military including Navy Diving Helmets, Robotics, a variety of electronic tools, lights, and lasers. NDIA members talk to the students and parents about careers in STEM and provided helpful information based on their real-world experience. Together we help awaken a greater interest in STEM and STEM education.
United States Army Recruiting San Diego. Two US Army recruiters will be available at all times with assorted items and brochures for distribution amongst the crowd. STEM related items to discuss and the relation the Army has with developing new technologies.
At our booth, we will have flyers, signs, and small give-away materials (stickers etc.). We will also have computers to show promotional videos and some sort of demonstration/ activity (Cosmo robots).
The Goldstone Apple Valley Radio Telescope Project (GAVRT) is a partnership between NASA, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and the Lewis Center for Educational Research, a K-12 Charter School in Apple Valley, California. GAVRT trains educators on the basics of radio astronomy, technical topics pertinent to the project’s science observation campaigns, and telescope operations. Once trained, educators schedule time on the radio telescope for their class to collect data on a strong radio source.
The Curiosity Cube, a retrofitted shipping container turned mobile science lab, travels North America bringing hands-on science to visitors. Equipped with the latest technology, the Curiosity Cube's goal is to spark curiosity within the future generation of scientists.
We will have a Maker School Bus approximately 25 feet long. We will have a booth and pop up next to the bus. Students will be able to experience a Maker and Robotics activity outside the bus and a tour of the bus.
It takes true community spirit and engagement to build a successful Festival and create meaningful year-round STEAM experiences for youth and families throughout San Diego.
