Storybook Engineering

Join San Diego Children's Discovery Museum on a storybook adventure and help solve an engineering problem.

These 30 minute workshops are designed for children ages 3 and up to experience hands-on STREAM activities inspired by classic stories.
Price of Storybook Engineering Workshops are included with Museum admission. Two workshop times: 2:00pm and 3:00pm. Workshop seating is first come, first served. As workshops tend to fill up quickly, please arrive early to secure your spot.

Canyon Volunteer Day

Improve the quality of urban natural spaces by participating in hands-on habitat restoration activities in Manzanita Canyon in City Heights. Volunteers will learn about the importance of protecting and restoring watershed habitats, like canyons, in order to improve ocean health and create safe spaces for community members to use and explore.

Elementary Institute of Science Open House

EIS is a non-profit learning center dedicated to offering hands-on experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) for children in grades 2-12.

1:00-4:00pm

What: Fun science activities for the whole family!
Visit our classrooms to do experiments with our STEM experts, live animals, and more!
