*We have 2 Barobo Kits (computer operated robots) that people can try out, and we have kits they can replicate. *We also have a Mitosis Kit, and attendees can learn about and identify the stages. *We have different games about perception, memory, etc., that we can conduct. *We will have participants build a bridge using supplies such as craft sticks or blocks, etc. (All of these are activities for both children and adults.)

We offer a hands-on STEAM-based program to K-8th grades. We believe that early nurturing of children’s natural curiosity and validation of their inherent desire to explore the world around them is one of the keys to igniting the sparks of creativity and a life long love for learning. We will be offering some hands-on activities for engineering that include rocket launchers and mini-catapults.

Demonstrations of states of matter, including high temperature plasma and low temperature cryogens; eddy current production & magnetism, including a levitating magnet; human powered electricity generation, plus discussions of the physics of nuclear fusion will be presented.

Our exhibit will consist of two parts, an informational section and an interactive section. On one side of the booth we will have our competition robot on display with information on our team and FIRST robotics. On the other side of the booth we will have participants program Mindstorms EV3 robots in order to navigate through a maze. There will be a row of laptops on a table to achieve this.

We are an Early Childhood STEM Provider for young children ages 3 to 8 years. We cater our STEM activities for children and their parents encouraging parent involvement. Our signature services include STEM Party Events for children ages 3 to 8 years, Preschool STEM Expo Competitions, and STEM Professional Development for Early Childhood Educators.

Make paper cherry blossoms and tie them to our tree standee! Then, learn about the stages of bloom, the science of grafting, and the cherry blossom trees at our very own Japanese Friendship Garden.

San Diego Children's Discovery Museum (SDCDM) will offer interactive, hands-on STEAM exhibits for Pre-school-aged children and up. *Will be in PreK Zone at no cost per Heather

The UC San Diego Biomedical Engineering Society strives to promote early STEM engagement for students by introducing the exciting field of biomedical engineering. With activities and demonstrations, UCSD BMES seeks to provide hands-on experiences that teach kids about biology, engineering, and medicine. Kids will enjoy the interactive experience, while at the same time learning how these three fields of science play an integral role in our society under the broader field of bio-medicine.
