Point Loma Nazarene University
Our booth will have activities in the areas of physics (magnetism and spectroscopy) and biology (microscopy involving insects and arachnids, as well as teaching devices designed to help young people understand the concept of evolution). The activities will be designed primarily for children in the kindergarten to middle school levels.
Amazing Science & Amazing Oceans
Display of information of our various programs and some sample make and take projects. Slime hands-on make and take activity provided.
San Diego River Park Foundation
Booth will consist of one display for community outreach for the San Diego River Park foundation, and one interactive display featuring the San Diego River Park Foundation Cool River Education Program. Live Macroinvertebtates will be on display to highlight stream health assessments.
San Diego Public Library
This Spring, the San Diego Public Library launches its first annual STEAM program, with hands-on programs at each of its 36 locations. The Catalog of Life @ the
Library effort is part of a Library citizen science initiative. Spring into STEAM: Bug Out! is geared towards students age 9 to12 and will feature free, hands-on science programs in March, April and May. Inspired by Catalog of Life, these programs will include entomology, coding, bioengineering and more.

San Diego River Park Foundation
The San Diego River Park foundation will host a booth highlighting our Cool River Education Program. Displays will include live macroinvertebrates,and information for schools and youth groups to sign up for free environmental science education programs.
San Deigo-Imperial Council Boy Scouts of America
The Boy Scouts of America's STEM committee would like to have a booth featuring the NOVA Awards program which incorporates learning with cool activities and exposure to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The hope is that these awards stimulate interest in STEM-related fields and shows how science, technology, engineering and mathematics apply to everyday living and the world around them.
