Super STEM Saturday is designed to expose and engage kids of all ages and their families to the diverse and exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, known as the STEM disciplines. The brainchild of The Classical Academies and held in partnership with CSUSM, Super STEM Saturday has grown into a popular North County event that draws over 7,000 science enthusiasts each year to the university campus.
Vista Unified School District would like to extend an invitation to join us for our 4th Annual STEM Fest event. STEM Fest is an evening event celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics showcasing K-12 student's innovative and creative STEM work. STEM related companies will host demonstrations and share career related information. MiraCosta and Palomar colleges, Cal State San Marcos and UCSD will also be in attendance providing interactive STEM activities and college STEM course and major information. Explore-It! Whales: Through hands-on activities, guests will explore the wide diversity of whales and learn about our local whale species. We will have station based activities on the floor for guests to interact with.
San Diego Miramar College will host a free science festival on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 12pm for kids from 9 to 99 at its Mira Mesa Campus (10440 Black Mountain Road). The Miramar College science faculty, staff and students will present a morning filled with “hands on” activities. All ages are welcome and this is a free event with free parking on campus! This event is part of the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering taking place around San Diego County starting on March 4th, 2017.

Come help San Diego scientist quantify all of the plants and animals that call Cabrillo home. There will be science and art based activities for all ages as well as food, fun, and music. Get up. Biology through Art is a collaboration of biologists and artists that brings artistic expression into biology courses. Construct animals from basic geometric shapes, or try drawing your own critter creations. Visit this exciting booth in the Art Pavilion!
