Science and technology should be fun! Join us as we rotate through five different stations where STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) concepts are taught using fun hands-on activities and experiments!

This is an event for middle school aged students. Note that the deadline for people to sign up for this event is March 10. Parents are required to sign up beforehand.

Celebrate International Pi Day

We'll measure circumferences and diameters, sing Pi carols, then eat Julian pie. The tastiest math lesson you'll ever have. Bring the family or drop off your students to explore a different topic or theme each month. Children under 5 must be chaperoned by an adult at all times. Russian and Swedish speakers provided. Free event.

Join the Biocom Institute Festival of Science & Engineering as we celebrate STEM In the Alpine community! Bring your family to the Alpine Branch Library for a FREE and fun filled day featuring over 25 interactive, hands-on exhibits from local businesses, nonprofits, and schools. All activities are meant to spark a love for science in your future innovator.

STEM In Your Backyard: Vista

Join the Biocom Institute Festival of Science & Engineering as we celebrate STEM In the Vista community! Bring your family to the Main Street Parking lot (located next to the Avo playhouse) for a FREE and fun filled day featuring over 25 interactive, hands-on exhibits from local businesses, nonprofits, and schools. All activities are to spark a love for science in your future innovator.

*Parking is available for free in the adjacent dirt parking lot off Main Street, Vista, CA. Free street parking is also available on Sundays.

Super STEM Saturday

Super STEM Saturday is designed to expose and engage kids of all ages and their families to the diverse and exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, known as the STEM disciplines. The brainchild of The Classical Academies and held in partnership with CSUSM, Super STEM Saturday has grown into a popular North County event that draws over 7,000 science enthusiasts each year to the university campus.

Vista Unified School District 4th Annual STEM Fest!

Vista Unified School District would like to extend an invitation to join us for our 4th Annual STEM Fest event. STEM Fest is an evening event celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics showcasing K-12 student's innovative and creative STEM work. STEM related companies will host demonstrations and share career related information. MiraCosta and Palomar colleges, Cal State San Marcos and UCSD will also be in attendance providing interactive STEM activities and college STEM course and major information.
