Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE)

CCOE and the State of California are partnering with Journeys Map on an interactive pilot to map cyber education, training, certifications and career pathways. We'll demo the interactive map, showing attendees how they can chart their personal path to a cyber career with the exploration dashboard and zoom in for jobs, education, resources and more!

We will have information on animal science and animals in research, trivia, origami interactive puzzles, giveaways, possible prize wheel and many individuals with varying levels of experience within the biotech field.

NSF Center for Synthetic Organic Electrochemistry

We want participants to engage in a hands-on electrochemistry activity-- building their own battery. The first battery was built by Alessandro Volta in 1800, long before we had cell phones to power. With some household items, you can build this battery yourself! Participants will use: zinc washers, copper washers, felt or construction paper disks, vinegar, 2 alligator clips, copper wire, plastic tweezers and an LED light. The battery will be assembled on an acrylic stand with supervision.

ESET

ESET's booth offers an interactive learning experience focused on essential cybersecurity practices. Through hands-on activities, you'll discover how to create and manage strong, unique passwords, while recognizing common cyber threats like phishing. You'll learn practical security measures to protect your digital life, while seeing real-time demonstrations of how antivirus software identifies and blocks potential threats to keep your devices secure.
