ScienceBridge – Enzyme Lab – 11:00am – 1:00pm (Grades 9-12)
Lisa Yoneda and Darci Kimball will be teaching the FREE Enzyme Substrate Reactions kit produced by ScienceBridge Tech Sites and distributed for teachers in San Diego County. This workshop is designed to equip educators with the skills and tools necessary to bring ScienceBridge curriculum into their classroom, allowing students to observe how the enzyme breaks down the substrate, producing p-nitrophenol. The Algae Foundation – Algae Academy – 2:00pm – 4:00pm (Grades K-12)
The Algae Academy is a FREE, hands-on, NGSS aligned, algae-based STEM kit & curriculum that uses algae as the vehicle for exploration while helping students hone necessary STEM skills. Their workshop is designed to leave educators feeling fully confident in bringing the Algae Academy into their classrooms and getting their students excited about the power of algae!
