San Diego Yoga Festival

SDYF is an epic yoga festival on the beach in Imperial Beach, San Diego. It is San Diego’s largest yoga festival reaching thousands of holistically-minded (or curious) people! It celebrates humanity and health offering nonstop yoga, meditation and healing classes open to all people, of all ages and all levels of yogic understanding. There is something for people who have never done yoga before, those just beginning, those with a regular practice, and yoga teachers and healers! With classes for kids and even a yoga class for your dog everyone is WELCOME!

Super STEM Saturday

Explore interactive demonstrations and hands-on science activities at Super STEM Saturday, including rocket launches, build-a-robot stations, model displays, scientist chats and a obstacle course. The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary parking available in Lots E, F, and H. Super STEM Saturday is designed to expose and engage kids of all ages and their families to the diverse and exciting fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, known as the STEM disciplines.

Building Better Batteries

Speaker: Ying Shirley Meng, Ph.D., Associate Professor Department of Nano Engineering University of California, San Diego.

High energy, long life, rechargeable batteries are considered an important technological opportunity to reduce production of greenhouse gasses. What standards should be set for safety of new energy storage technologies? And, who should enforce those standards? Join us for this program to learn about these exciting developments as well as discussing how best to meet potential social and ethical challenges.

Fleet Night of Science—MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition

This edition of Fleet Night of Science will celebrate the San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering and the Fleet's newest exhibition, MythBusters: The Explosive Exhibition.

Bust popular myths through exciting experiments. Try to dodge a paint ball, find out what keeps you drier: running or walking through the rain, channel your inner action hero by hanging off a cliff and much more.

Students explore concepts such as tsunamis, landslides, permafrost, glaciers, and sea level rise. Learn why and how things ooze, what makes an explosion and the hidden reason why some things can spin and others cannot. Come prepared to make a mess.

Sound Healing, Meditation is a Science in a Guiness World Book Record Setting AUM Meditation Circle

Join San Diego Yoga Festival’s FREE closing ceremony: a powerful AUM meditation circle filled with thousands of people! We are going to make history and set a world record as we sit together meditating in unity for peace for the self and the world on the beach as the sun sets for San Diego's LARGEST meditation circle and the world's first, organized and largest 108 AUM Circle.

San Diego Yoga Festival (SDYF) is an epic 4-day yoga festival offering non-stop yoga, meditation and holistic health classes (every hour on the hour until sunset) right on the beach in Imperial Beach! Classes will be held from Friday, March 9 to to Monday, March 12, 2018: the main festival is on Saturday and Sunday which will have thousands of people experiencing all types of yoga and holistic health classes.
