Beach and Bay Water Quality Monitoring Program will use a 3-D watershed model to demonstrate how surface water run-of and pollution leads to contamination of our beaches and bays. This impact on our recreational waters can affect our health. Also, we plan on demonstrating the various laboratory processes used for water quality testing in our public health lab, which help identify if the water has microbial pathogens.

The County of San Diego Department of Environmental Health Hazmat Division (HMD) helps keep the citizens of San Diego County safe from the harmful effects of hazardous materials waste through regulatory programs and emergency response. DEH Hazardous Incident Response team Responds to chemical, biological and radiation incidents. Viasat celebrates International Women’s Day! 

We’ll be putting the “A” in STEAM by creating a women in STEAM mural with EXPO attendees. Participants who visit the Viasat booth will use their handprints to help create a mural which recognizes the past, present and future of women in STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics).

This booth will feature mathematics games, folding explorations and fun with circuits.

See if you have what it takes to report a fire, traffic or weather on camera! Take photos with 10News Anchors and Reporters or talk with producers and photographers about our studio and news team.

Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of death. More than 350,000 Americans experience a cardiac arrest outside of the hospital each year. Unfortunately, about 90% of cardiac arrest victims die, often because bystanders don’t know how to perform CPR or are afraid of doing it incorrectly. CPR, especially if performed immediately, can double or triple a person’s chances of survival.
